mrs. field’s cookie recipe

Mrs. Field’s Cookies
|2 c butter||4 c flour||24 oz chocolate chips|
|2 c sugar||5 c oatmeal (use blender to convert to powder)||8 oz chocolate bar, grated|
|2 c brown sugar||1 tsp salt||3 c chopped nuts, any kind|
|4 eggs||2 tsp baking powder|
|2 tsp vanilla||2 tsp baking soda|
In a huge mixing bowl, cream together butter and sugars. Add eggs and vanilla. Mix together flour, oatmeal, salt, baking powder, and baking soda. Add to wet ingredients and mix. Add chocolate and nuts. Make golf ball sized cookies and bake 2” apart on ungreased cookie sheets for about 6 or minutes at 375°. Cookies will be very soft when you take them out of the oven.
Note: You may want to cut recipe in half. It is very difficult to mix.
