Re-open starting October 26th
Due to the situation, the team event is postponed. But we will have Club Appreciation games both remaining days in October. Extra Black points!
Remember our ‘after’ Halloween Party on November 2nd. Come early and come hungry. Lunch served at 11:30 followed by a bridge game. Lots of super nice prizes! Costumes are optional but the best costume wins a prize!
11.2 – After Halloween Party – lunch served at 11:30 come early
11.4 – The Community Center is closed to the public. The PBC game will be held at the Kenilworth Teen Center THIS DAY ONLY (located @ 150 Fairground Dr. behind the Library on E. Washington and Payran)
11.18 – Unit Game, extra black points – $9
11.23 and 11.25 – PBC closed for the Thanksgiving weekend
11.30 – Club Championship – almost double black points

AS A MENTOR – You do not need to be a life master. Your skill level would be matched to the mentee.
AS A MENTEE – You would be matched with a player whose skill level is higher than yours. You would pay the normal game fee and half the mentor’s game fee. PBC would pay the other half of the mentor’s game fee.
BOTH THE MENTOR AND MENTEE – You set a schedule that fits your schedules; either Saturdays or Thursdays or both. More details will be given if this program is a go.

kudos to Gary Robinson and John Kozero for 71.43% game and it was STaC Silver points.
upcoming in September is the Unit 509 Sectional Tournament on September 9th and 10th. A chance for more Silver. And September 23rd is a chance for extra Black point at our Unit game.
Once again, our wonderful director, Cecelia Zachar baked zucchini bread, all organic and quite yummy. The only points you get is caloric so i won’t say how many.
We are missing our snow birds, Barbara and Wayne …… aloha and see you soon.
As you all know by now we especially miss Brian Haley who passed away this month. There is a hole in PBC and other clubs that can never be filled. by now, i am sure he playing bridge with the other angels. They are so lucky to have Brian at their tables. We were blessed to have known him. Rest in Peace.
We will be planning another wine and cheese event in the upcoming months. Will keep you posted.
